Quality assurance assistant wanted in Transylvania County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Transylvania County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping 5+ years on the tools preferred.
