Garment machinist wanted in Taylor County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Taylor County, Texas. You will work at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 5+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
