Vacuum press operator — Cattaraugus County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
