Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Ben Hill County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
