Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Yancey County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
