Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Sussex County, Virginia. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
