The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
