Cnc turner — City of Winchester

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turner in City of Winchester, Virginia. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; write and edit G-code programs at the control. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Rotating shifts. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
