Concrete placer wanted in Aleutians East Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds The role involves set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
