Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Sarasota County, Florida. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $7,500 per project plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
