Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Oneida County, New York. You will be based on a road construction project. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine On a typical shift you will push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil.
