Foundry worker wanted in Olorunsogo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Olorunsogo, Oyo State. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Six days a week, one day off.
