Vacancy available: garment machinist (Minnesota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Koochiching County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day to day you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
