Tailor machinist wanted in Tishomingo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. The job is at a busy garment factory. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
