Lift installation engineer • Antrim County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Antrim County, Michigan. You will work at a busy lift company. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On a typical shift you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
