Great opportunity: we are hiring a baker in Nelson County, Kentucky. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
