Commercial refrigeration engineer — Osceola County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Osceola County, Iowa. You will work in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Day to day you will pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; service split AC units and VRF systems; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
