Reinforcement steel fixer — Whitley County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Whitley County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
