Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Van Buren County, Michigan. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
