Site safety steward • Wakulla County, Florida

Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Wakulla County, Florida. Day to day you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
