Gas appliance installer — Hancock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Hancock County, Illinois. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
