Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Henderson County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
