Garment presser wanted in Southampton

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Southampton, England. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day to day you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. £1,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
