Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in West Lothian, Scotland. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred. £2,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
