Quality assurance assistant • Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, England. You will work on a garment production line. On a typical shift you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Six days a week, one day off. £2,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
