Concrete labourer wanted in McDonough County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete labourer in McDonough County, Illinois. You will work in a residential housing project. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On a typical shift you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
