Your main tasks: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task You should have: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Rotating shifts.
