Vertical transportation technician • Wayne County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Wayne County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time with occasional weekends.
