Argon welder wanted in Klickitat County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Klickitat County, Washington. The job is on an industrial construction site. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
