On a typical shift you will capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset; plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation; refuel the bike and log fuel expenses against each run; carry food orders in an insulated thermal box to keep meals hot; scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off; wear a helmet and reflective jacket and follow road-safety rules. Ideal candidate: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
