Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Custer County, South Dakota. Your main tasks: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
