Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Sierra County, California. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
