Join our team: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Dallas County, Missouri. The job is in a supermarket meat department. On the job you will handle: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Six days a week, one day off.
