Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Douglas County, Colorado. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
