Vacancy available: offshore rigger (Akwa Ibom State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
