Immediate opening: air conditioning installer (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an air conditioning installer in Des Moines County, Iowa. The job is at a busy AC installation company. The role involves: • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator What we are looking for: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
