Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Ohio County, Kentucky. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Day-to-day duties: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
