Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Houston County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift What we are looking for: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Full-time with occasional weekends.
