Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Renfrewshire, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
