Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Amite County, Mississippi. The job is in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious On the job you will handle: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Rotating shifts.
