TIG welder — Mariposa County

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Mariposa County, California. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
