Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Magoffin County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour.
