Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
