Fabricator-welder — Barnwell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Barnwell County, South Carolina. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Part-time with flexible hours.
