The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Overtime paid at a premium rate.
