Tube and fitting scaffolder • Calhoun County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Calhoun County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
