Shuttering carpenter wanted in Contra Costa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Contra Costa County, California. Your main tasks: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
