CO2 welder wanted in Adams County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Adams County, Iowa. You will work on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
