Reinforcement fitter — Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Howard County, Texas. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day to day you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
