Urgent requirement: elevator technician (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Kent County, Texas. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
